WHY ACUVUE® IS UNIQUE

Why choose ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses?

At ACUVUE® we understand how important your vision is to you and we’ve made it our mission to be the world's leading contact lens company, dedicated to creating products of the highest quality.

Long-lasting comfort

ACUVUE® brand contact lenses are thin and manufactured from soft, flexible materials that allow oxygen to pass through to your eyes. Our patented wetting technologies help provide a smooth, silky feel for optimal comfort.

Help protect your eyes from the sun

The sun’s harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays can be just as damaging to your eyes as they are to your skin. All ACUVUE® brand contact lenses offer UV blocking as standard, blocking more than 98% of the sun’s UVB rays and 85% of UVA rays. *
Contact lenses with UV blocking filters sit over the cornea and lens of your eyes to help give them additional protection from the transmission of harmful UV rays. These, combined with sunglasses and a wide brimmed hat, will help provide more comprehensive protection for your eyes.

*All ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses have UV Blocking to help provide protection against transmission of harmful UV radiation to the cornea and into the eye. UV absorbing contact lenses are NOT substitutes for protective UV absorbing eyewear such as UV absorbing goggles or sunglasses because they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. You should continue to use UV absorbing eyewear as directed by your Optician.
