No matter from what kind of bad sight you are suffering or what standards you want your contact lenses to meet - Acuvue® has the perfect lense for you.
Do you have Myopia or Hyperopia?
Our simple snellen test is simple enough to try at home.
The Snellen test is the best-known vision test. It uses a chart with different sizes of letters to evaluate how accurately you can see from a distance.

What is Myopia?
If you are short sighted you will have trouble seeing objects at a distance. Your vision is clear up close, sometimes up to just centimetres or metres away. But beyond that, objects become fuzzy or out of focus. This may affect you when you are driving, at the gym playing sports or even trying to recognize someone at a distance.
How can Myopia be corrected?
Most short sightedness can be corrected with ACUVUE® brand contact lenses including:
• 1•DAY ACUVUE® TRUEYE® (daily disposable lenses)
• 1•DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® (daily disposable lenses)
• ACUVUE® OASYS® with HYDRACLEAR® PLUS (reusable lenses)
Contact lenses for myopia are concave, or thinner at the centre than at the edges. This helps to direct light away from the centre of the lens and move the focal point of the light back so it reaches the retina.

What is Hyperopia?
If you are long sighted you can see objects clearly at a distance, but find it hard or impossible to focus up close. In severe cases, it takes constant effort to focus on objects at all distances. Hyperopia (long sightedness) can interfere with day-to-day tasks such as reading, writing and working with the computer.
How can Hyperopia be corrected?
Most long sightedness can be corrected with ACUVUE® brand contact lenses including:
• 1•DAY ACUVUE® TRUEYE® (daily disposable lenses)
• 1•DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® (daily disposable lenses)
• ACUVUE® OASYS® with HYDRACLEAR® PLUS (reusable lenses)
Contact lenses for hyperopia are thicker at the centre and thinner at the edges. They bend the light toward the centre and move the focal point forward so that light is focused on, rather than behind, the retina.
